Miscarriage and Misfortune

Sunday, November 13, 2287:
I needed new clothes and saw a suite hanging high on one of the buildings in the neighborhood of Lexington. The set was right in the corner and I had to cross a railing on the terrace. I lost my balance and fell. It wasn't supposed to have been a big fall, but I felt more pain than I should. I saw that blood was dripping from my vagina, was horrified and decided I had to get to that little town I saw on the lakeside anyway.

I put on the clothes and this time tried to approach the city by a road. It worked! The city was walled and well protected, I had to answer some stupid questions to get in, but all right, I managed to get into Covernant and luckily they had a doctor.

Dr Patricia examined me, she had to insert some medical tools into my vagina, even my uterus. She had no anesthesia, it was painful and in the end she had removed a pair of lumps from me.Then she examined them, they were two fetuses. She was amazed that they had some dog-like features. According to her I was in the 3rd month of a pregnancy which is impossible, I told my story, it's not even a month since leaving the Vault. She said she can't explain then, but I certainly had an abortion. She asked me to get some rest and not think about it too much and I spent the rest of the day in Covernant.

Monday, November 14, 2287:
I woke up almost at lunch time. I went to eat and a man named Honest Dan came to talk to me. Despite Convernant's pleasing appearance, he is suspicious that the city has something to do with the disappearance of a caravan. I told him I would let him know if I saw anything suspicious, but honestly, I didn't care much.

After that I decided to go home. I was very careful, I saw scavs from afar fighting some robots. I got home late in the evening, but I got well. I went to see the dog I had left with my robot butler and now I'm going to sleep.

Tuesday, November 15, 2287:
I woke up early and went to check the north of the neighborhood. I can't relax at all that raiders show up. They are a worse plague than cockroaches and giant flies. I get down two patrols of them.

I'm bothered by the water pump I made. I mean, it's good, it works. But for anything I have to spend minutes pumping water and still have to boil it to use. The water still has a taste and is not the most pleasant and after the shower gives me an itch. It's not because I didn't finish my engineering college (which wasn't even mechanical or chemical engineering, two things I would need), that I had to accept to deal with it. I was always very knowledgeable and I think the challenge of making a water purification machine with a pumping system would not be too difficult for me. A basic system I even remember how to do, I think it's worth a try!

I had lunch and relaxed at home. Then I went to the lake to take care of other pests: mosquitoes and giant flies. But I was overwhelmed by scorpion wasps! I should imagine that such animals would not restrict their habitat to a single lake. I didn't have a chance, they were faster and attacked me with rage. As soon as I was knocked over, one of them docked into me and penetrated, with its ovipositor into my vagina, I felt her trying to lay an egg on me.

I could barely breathe. I could feel the huge object being pushed so hard into me. I was crying in pain, but I had no strength to defend myself. I was afraid of what would happen to me after that egg lodged in my belly! Luckily I was saved by an unusual hero: The Alpha of the first pack I crossed paths. He was alone and ferociously advanced on the wasps. It was a bloody and time consuming fight, but it did away with all the wasps that were around. The one that was attached to me made no effort to help her friends.

Then, with one bite, alpha snatched the wasp off me. That was abrupt and painful, but the feeling of having got rid of that thing was relieving. However, I didn't have much time to appreciate my "freedom". The alpha wasted no time and rode on top of me, penetrating me with his giant cock.

I didn't feel bad about it, he was very hurt. You could see the signs of sting and cuts all over your leather. In some of the wounds, a greenish liquid dripped. Today I woke up early. I saw some rats on the other side of the lake and decided to hunt them down. I never imagined that I would eat meat from such a creature, but until properly prepared they are very tasty. Then I went down to Concord, found a traveling doctor, and asked her to examine me. It cost me 55 caps, but after what I've been through it's good to be cautious. The doctor taught me how to make anti-radiation serum and stimpacks as well. On the way back I had to face raiders near concord and close to home, but I did well.

Thursday, November 11, 2287

I woke up early and went looking for a place to start my water purification system. I found a good place, from here I can connect pipes with the old supply system in the neighborhood. But I'll have to clean the place first.

I was out of patience to clean it up and since I'm going to need pipes and other materials, I decided to go investigate the dam near the cooperative I found. Approaching the dam I saw a big, muscular and green humanoid creature, it saw me too and spoke! In fact, she bellowed something in terrible English! It lunged at me and I had to shoot its. After it died, I saw that next was a corpse of a muscular green dog and three dead giant wasps. I must have been lucky, the creature I killed was already injured from previous combat.

The morning was beautiful and the sun shining, I decided to take a dip in the lake. I stayed there until about 1:00 pm and then headed to the cooperative, where I just had lunch. Later I plan to take a look at the abandoned chapel nearby.
